There's no secret, we're just still developing the game and don't have a release date yet. ![]() If you are so secertive about release then no one will buy it because no one will know how much longer they have to wait. you ARE the publisher!!! (get my point? :P) or you can tell us if you are not allowed to do so due to our publisher or whatever ). (no offence - in the sense of you have given us not much news at all and as OP stated you can clearly tell us what is taking so long. Originally posted by The Unknown:yes, when is it? a teaser demo is not good enough - we have waited 2 almost 3 years since you said *we will relese next year* I promised my grandchild this game, and all I want is WHEN WHEN WHEN even if it means next year, or the year after. This is is all I want: for the devs to be honest. And I also know when people are being dishonest and try to tell you tales. I know hunger, I know what it is like when your gas and electricity are cut of because you can't pay the bill. I been waiting since 2018 bruv you need to let it go and wait be paitent but as you posted this i doubt it Oh child, I am an 70 year old grandmother, who lived trough harder times then you can immagine. Instant gratifications have ruined generations because they want it NOW NOWĪll this post is is another whine they that someone isnt getting what they want on thier time touch some grass then come back when its readyīut first id like you to try to make ANY thing someone wants then you will understand how annoying it is when people whine because your not going as fast as they would like. "when is it ready" "are we there yet" i think that mentality is one of a spoiled person who cant grasp waiting for a good thing. Maybe you should try making a game and then listen to the whines of a million kiddos Uh you should let go of the pre conceved notions that you deserve anything But I feel like I know what I'm heading towards now, and that's enough.Originally posted by fatesdeath:when its ready? I'm still worried 1,000 planets is too big, both for enough of them to be well developed and for my own interest in wading through them. There are 1,000 of them, remember? Plus, in the second half of the trailer Todd Howard talks to the camera while the game goes on behind him, and we see a desert planet, a lush verdant world teeming with dinosaur-like creatures, and the inside of an industrial complex - like I said, it will be a big game. We know we're not only going to be stuck on this planet. Like Skyrim, it's not setting up the most original story, but it does feel like a story, and that's a start. ![]() The player character is shown floating powerlessly before it, until it swallows the galaxy whole with a swirl of stars and flash of light. The looming red sphere behind this structure suggests it's on an orbiting moon, and the glittering mechanisms inside hint at a deliberately constructed, yet cosmic purpose that seems to hold a key to something very valuable. ![]() We hear that The Eye has picked up an anomaly, and we see a large, almost religious building with rocks dancing through gravity around it. We all love these extra pieces, but they need to be tied together with a strong arc - Starfield's latest trailer is the first time I've had confidence in this. Not all that layered, but that's what the surrounding narratives of guilds and glory are for. You are a prisoner who is inadvertently freed when a dragon attacks the village you are transported to in chains, and you chase the dragon off before learning that you are the Dragonborn, a mighty hero whose purpose is to save these lands. ![]() Related: Forget Character Customisation, I’m Going All In On Starfield’s Ship Builder Skyrim's story, for all the supporting tales of wizards and wonder that exist around it, is very simple. For me, and for many others, the prospect of seeing what narrative Bethesda has in store for us is a bigger pull than knowing it will take 200 hours to set foot down on each world. But the new trailer feels more intimate and connected to a tangible, grounded story than we've seen from the game so far. It's still a huge game in all the ways that look good on marketing posters. The 1,000 planets presumably still exist, and it's still going to trade blow for blow with Tears of the Kingdom to be crowned game of the year. I don't think the game will actually be that small.
